Porsche revealed 2010 Boxster Spyder in Los Angeles Auto Show

Porsche revealed the 2010 Boxster Spyder in Los Angeles Auto Show is the third model in the Boxster lineup. The car is entirely new look and we are guided to consider as 911 GT3 RS. The Spyder is altered version of Porsche's 3.4-liter flat-six, rated at 320 hp which is ten more than the Boxster S.
The weight of the car is 176 pounds weight saved from Porsche Boxster S, the engine from Boxster S gets a 10 horsepower boost, upto 320 horsepower. Porsche has fixed the Spyder with a lightweight carbon fiber-ribbed soft top, unique rear decklid, low side windows, aluminum door skins and interior door panels with straps swapped from the 911 GT3 RS to get these savings.

Air conditioning, cupholders and an audio system have been left back on the factory floors which will add back for cost. With a curb weight of just 2,811 pounds, it is the lightest model in Porsche's lineup. With a power-to-weight ratio rivaling the Carrera S, the Boxster Spyder with a double clutch Porsche-Doppelkupplung transmission will now split to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

Porsche changed the dampers with a new sport suspension, riding 20 mm lower than the other models, to drop the center of gravity and improve handling over the standard Porsche Boxster and Boxster S. The car is fitted with standard limited-slip differential and lightweight wheels, which glances very well.

The Boxster Spyder will be offered in three standard Porsche solid colors and three standard metallic colors and a unique cream white. The cost of Boxster Spyder is high starting from $61,200 which will come on February 2010.
