General Motors announced 2013 Chevrolet Malibu car for Korea

Chevrolet one of the division of General Motors the famous car maker has announced new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu car for Korea.

The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu car is powered with 2.5L Ecotec direct-injected 4-cylinder engine system which produces more than 190-hp and maximum torque of 180 lb-ft. The car is also powered with 2.4L Ecotec direct-injection 4-cylinder engine system. This car is available with GM eAssist system which is connected to 180-hp and 6-speed automatic transmission. The fuel efficiency of the car is 38 mpg on the highway.

The Chevrolet Product Director Russ Clark announced in a statement that Korea as a key sales market for the new Malibu further increases the brands global presence and continues our growth path while increasing our car offerings to consumers in Korea.

The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu car will be available for sale with dealers in US in 2012 in LS, LT and LTZ trim-levels. The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu car will be GM first sedan car to be sold worldwide nearly in 100 markets.

Porsche revealed 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 car

Porsche the luxury high performance car maker officially revealed new 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 car.

The 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 car is powered with 4.0 liter naturally-aspirated powerful engine system which is connected to six speed sports transmission. The car is accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and top speed of the car is 193mph. The car round the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes 27 seconds.

The 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 car is equipped with standard light weight components such as bucket seats, bonnet, front wings made of carbon fibre, plastic rear windows and weight optimised carpets. The car features front air deflection vanes, large rear wing with modified side plates, typical central twin tailpipe and aerodynamically optimised body.

The 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 car production will be limited to 600 cars and price of the car is $185,000. The car will be available for sale in Germany on July 2011.

Luxgen revealed Luxgen Neora concept car

Luxgen the car manufacturer has revealed the Luxgen Neora concept car at the 2011 Shanghai Auto show.

The Luxgen Neora concept car is powered with 48kWh lithium-ion battery and boosted by 180 kW electric induction motor. The car is accelerated from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and top speed of 250 km/h. The car can travel upto 400 km when it is fully charged.

The Luxgen Neora concept car features PDLC electric glass sunroof, LED screen infotainment system for rear passengers, 9-inch active intelligent information system to exchange information with other cars and guidance on directions. The car driver has ergonomic comfortable seat and head-up display to check important information.

The Luxgen Neora concept car has LED headlights with illuminating components to generate hi-tech visual effect, larger angle rear side lights to highlight the body lines. aerodynamics and aesthetics design on front. The car interior was designed with leather upholstery and wooden trims.

Opel revealed images of new Opel Astra GTC car

Opel the car maker one of the division of GM has revealed the first images of the new Opel Astra GTC car.

The Opel Astra GTC car is powered with turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder twin-scroll direct-injected engine system which produces 286 hp. The car will be connected to 6-speed manual transmission which propels power to the front wheels through limited slip differential.

The Opel Astra GTC car is based on Opel GTC Paris concept car revealed last year. The car will be five seater and three door sporty compact car with remarkable extents. The car features the very best of Opel latest technology and features unique chassis.

The Opel Astra GTC car details will be revealed on June 7 by Opel. The production version of new Opel Astra GTC will be going to make its first debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show on 15 September 2011.

Carpool For Dummies - Art Car Central Moron Alert

There needs to be a book called Carpooling for dummies written by art car central that helps people drive and park in around swimming pools. Holy smokes!!! do we need special protective barriers around pools to stop some folks from driving their precious vehicles into the pool??? By the looks of it I think we do. I want to know how on earth does one get that close to a swimming pool to actually drive their car into it. None of these cars is a Prius, so the sticky gas pedal excuse wont work here. Was there no parking space available left that the pool seemed like the next best thing? Was the pool gravity so strong that it just sucked these cars into them? The only answer I can come up with is "The Devil made them do it", what do you think happened ? Some of the cars found in the bottom of these pools include: Mazda, Jeep, MiniVan, even a very expensive Rolls Royce, ouch!!!

Mazda the car maker revealed the 2012 Mazda3 car on United States at the 2011 New York International Auto Show.

The 2012 Mazda3 car is powered with all-new high-efficiency direct-injection SKYACTIV-G 2.0L gasoline engine system which produces 155 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. The car is connected with standard SKYACTIV-MT 6-speed manual transmission or optional SKYACTIV-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy of the car is 40 mpg on highway.

The 2012 Mazda3 car exterior features new front fascia, updated five-point grille, new 16- and 17-inch aluminum wheel designs, colored with deep blue metallic paint and headlamps are equipped with transparent blue ring around the center lens. The car interior features silver-colored and satin-polished 3 climate-control dial switches, audio control panel, Multi Information Display, liquid crystal display and sporty twin-meter.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG car is powered with the new 5.5 liter biturbo V8 engine system. The car produces 550 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. The car is accelerated from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 and 4.2 seconds respectively and top speed of the car is 250 km/h. The Fuel consumption of the car is 9.8L for 100kms and CO2 emissions of 230gms/km.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG car features stop/start function as standard which is activated or deactivated using ECO button, AMG ride control sports suspension, new sports steering system, high-performance braking system, 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels with 10-spokes which is equipped with 255/R40 R 18 tyres on front and 285/35 R 18 on rear.

Scion revealed new Scion FR-S Concept car

Scion the sports car manufacturer revealed new Scion FR-S Concept car at the 2011 New York Auto Show. The name FR-S Concept stands for Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport car.

The Scion FR-S Concept car is powered with the flat 2.0L boxer engine on front-engine with rear wheel drive configuration. The car uses direct and port injection system to increase the horsepower and torque. The car is connected with 6-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission.

The Scion FR-S Concept car features four-piston-caliper front brakes, sleek solid panel roofline, lightweight and rigid, LED angular headlights and edge taillights, monoblock Five Axis 20x8.5-inch wheels on front and 20x10.5-inch wheel on rear. The car is equipped with an aerodynamic shape that directs air cleanly on top.

The Scion FR-S Concept car is lightweight design and short wheelbase with dynamic maneuverability and confident stability. The car is painted with rich coats of Code Red which will be launched on next year.

Get V check before buying used cars

When a sale is conducted, the buyer always makes sure that the product purchased by him is authentic and that there are no inherent flaws in it. This should be case with every product on sale, including vehicles.

When buying cars, especially used cars, the buyer needs to keep in mind a lot of things. He needs to certain that the seller is not lying about the original date of registration, that the car and its plates are not stolen ones and many others.

Additionally, when second-hand vehicles are bought, it becomes important to conduct what is known as V check or vehicle information check. The main reason why V check is conducted is to make the buyer aware in case of any problems with the newly acquired car. If debts and mortgages have already been taken on the car and are unpaid by the seller then these unpaid debts and mortgages could cause loads of trouble to the buyer even after paying the lump sum amount. By resorting to V check all such threats can be negated completely.

In order to use V check, a person requires the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of the car. If through V check there seems to be no problem to the car, then a V check certificate is issued. This certificate acts as a valid proof and helps the owner in case the car is once again re-sold later.
