Mazda revealed new 2012 Mazda CX-5 car

Mazda has revealed the new 2012 Mazda CX-5 car which is going to make its first public debut at 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The 2012 Mazda CX-5 car is powered with Mazda SKYACTIV-G 2.0 gasoline engine and SKYACTIV-D 2.2 diesel engine which will be available in standard power and high power versions. The engine has record breaking compression ratio of 14:1 for ideal efficiency. The CO2 emissions of SKYACTIV-D 2.2 engine was less than 120g/km.

The 2012 Mazda CX-5 car is manufactured with manual and automatic transmissions, body and chassis. The car features precise handling responses, high quality ride, outstanding environmental credentials, advanced safety performance, sporty and stable driving dynamics with updated interior and exterior design and higher quality levels.

The 2012 Mazda CX-5 car is first new generation of Mazda products that will adopt full range of Mazda SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and new design theme KODO which is known as Soul of Motion.

Mazda has revealed Mazda MX-5 sport and Mazda2 black car

Mazda has revealed the Mazda MX-5 sport black car and Mazda2 Black edition car for United Kingdom.

The Mazda MX-5 sport black car is powered with 2.0L 4cylinder engine system which produces 160hp. The car is connected to 6-speed manual transmission. The car is accelerated from 0-62 mph in 7.9 seconds and top speed of the car is 136 mph. The car features 17-inch alloy wheels, 3 unique exterior colors, powered retractable hardtop, black door mirrors and fashion bars, alloy pedal set, unique sand colour stitching on black leather seats, steering wheel, handbrake, piano black finish to steering wheel, numbered plaque and black edition branded floor mats.

The Mazda2 Black Edition car is powered with 1.3L engine system which produces 84 hp. The car is accelerated from 0-62 mph in 13.6 seconds and top speed of the car is 108 mph. The car features matt Black 16-inch alloy wheels, black vinyl roof, dark rear privacy glass, rear sports bumper, front fog lights, climate control air conditioning, parrot Bluetooth system, electric rear windows, black sports interior trim with red piping, unique numbered plaque and black edition branded floor mats.

The production of Mazda MX-5 Sport Black car will be limited to 500 units and price of the car starts at £22,995. The production of the Mazda2 Black Edition car will be limited to 618 cars and price of the car starts at £12,815.

Mazda revealed new 1.3L SKYACTIV-G engine

Mazda Motor Corporation has revealed new 1.3L SKYACTIV-G engine at Automotive Engineering Exposition which took place at Pacifico Yokohama convention center in Tokyo city of Japan.

Mazda introduced new 1.3L SKYACTIV-G direct-injection engine which produces 62 kW and 112 Nm of torque. The fuel consumption of the car is 3.3 liters/100 km. The gasoline engine achieves a remarkable compression ratio of 14.0:1.

The new SKYACTIV-G 1.3 engine features new technologies such as Multi-hole injectors for precise fuel injection control, dual sequential valve timing system, Compact combustion chambers, piston cavities specially designed to support ideal combustion, innovative idling stop system which improves fuel economy and lightweight highly rigid aluminum alloy engine block.

The Mazda new SKYACTIV-G 1.3 engine was equipped in the facelifted Mazda Demio during the first half of 2011 which was also called as Mazda2 car.

Mazda the car maker revealed the 2012 Mazda3 car on United States at the 2011 New York International Auto Show.

The 2012 Mazda3 car is powered with all-new high-efficiency direct-injection SKYACTIV-G 2.0L gasoline engine system which produces 155 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. The car is connected with standard SKYACTIV-MT 6-speed manual transmission or optional SKYACTIV-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy of the car is 40 mpg on highway.

The 2012 Mazda3 car exterior features new front fascia, updated five-point grille, new 16- and 17-inch aluminum wheel designs, colored with deep blue metallic paint and headlamps are equipped with transparent blue ring around the center lens. The car interior features silver-colored and satin-polished 3 climate-control dial switches, audio control panel, Multi Information Display, liquid crystal display and sporty twin-meter.

The 2012 Mazda3 car is equipped with high level of standard safety features six improved double chamber side airbags, anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control with Traction Control System, front and rear stabilizer bars, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, collapsible steering column and 3-point safety belts for all seats. 

Mazda announced Mazda MX-5 Kendo special edition car

Mazda the Japan car manufacturer announced the plan to reveal Mazda MX-5 Kendo special edition car for Britain.

The Mazda MX-5 Kendo special edition soft top model car is powered with 1.8L engine system that produces 125 hp and 167Nm of torque. The car is accelerated from 0-62 mph in 9.9 seconds and top speed of the car is 121 mph. The fuel efficiency of the car is 39.8 mpg and CO2 emissions of 167 g/km.

The Mazda Kendo MX-5 special edition hard top model car is powered with 2.0L engine system with 158 hp and 188 Nm of torque. The MX-5 is accelerated from 0-62 mph in 7.9 seconds and top speed of the car is 135 mph. The car is somewhat economical and average fuel consumption of the car is 37.2 mpg and CO2 emissions of 177 g/km.

The Mazda Kendo MX-5 special edition is based on the SE trim package. The car features Bluetooth connectivity, brushed aluminum trim, BOSE audio system, special stone leather interior, exterior badging and floor mats, plus front fog lamps, heated seats and exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels. The car will be obtainable in Dolphin Grey or Sparkling Black color.

The cost of Mazda Kendo MX-5 special edition soft top model car is beginning from £19,255 and hard top model costs £22,320. The car will be available for sale with dealers on March 2011.

Dazed and Confused with OpticaCARlusion

The Opti-Car-lusion was sent in by Becky Morris aka Queen Becky who recently moved to west Virginia. She has a 97 Mazda Miata painted over with a variety of optical illusions that are to sure to daze and confuse other drivers. I wonder if its a bad idea to be driving around a car like that, just don't tailgate to closely you might end seeing things that are not there.

Mazda using Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive technology

Mazda will be using Toyotas Hybrid Synergy Drive technology the second car manufacturer using this technology followed by Nissan. Mazda has signed a contract with the hybrid behemoth that will notice the little company get a supply of hybrid hardware most probably contain communication, power electronics including the software and battery packs.

The mechanism will be coupled with the new production, a direct injected Sky-G 2.0L petrol engine system which is displayed by Mazda at the previous Tokyo Motor Show. The car allegedly convey 15-20% enhancement in fuel economy. Mazda will produce a new hybrid car starting in 2013 with this equipment, the first it has manufactured on its own. The only previous Mazda hybrid was the Tribute, a re badge Ford Escape.

Nissan has currently manufactured its individual in house hybrid system and when the Altima is reproduced in the next coming years it appears doubtful it will keep its present Toyota hybrid system.
