Porsche the Germany car manufacturer announced that it is returning to 24 hours Nurburgring race with improved Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid car.
The Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid car is powered with 464 hp 4.0L 6 cylinder boxer engine and two electric motors that produce combined output of 201 hp which is 40 hp more than prior hybrid cars. The car engine power rear wheels and electric motors power the front axle.
The Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid car is renowned by aerodynamically optimized styling design which decreases haul and fuel consumption. The car weighs 1300 kgs which is 50 kgs less than the prior car. The interior controls of the car have been transferred to steering wheel. The car drivers can simply operate key functions using backlit buttons which is placed on centre console.
The highlight of Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid car was improved efficiency. The lap times reliable with 2010 but use less energy, hence less fuel. We support future developments of road-going, sporting hybrid vehicles car announced in a statement by Hartmut Kristen head of Porsche motorsport.
