Chevrolet the US car manufacturer announced that it is planning to launch the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport car in US. The car will be available with two different engine system.

The 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport entry-level car is powered with 2.4L Ecotec direct injected 4 cylinder engine system which produces 182 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. The car is also available with 3.0L V6 engine system which produces 264 hp and 222 lb-ft of torque. The car engines are connected to 6-speed automatic transmission and optional all-wheel drive is also available.
The 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport car features 4-wheel antilock disc brake system, 6 speaker sound system, 17-inch aluminum wheels, air conditioning system, traction control, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, power locks and windows, remote keyless entry, XM Satellite Radio and Bluetooth connectivity.
The price of the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport car is not announced by the company and will be available for sale with dealers on 2012fourth quarter.
