Magnolia Pearl 4x4 Rolls Royce Art Car

Magnolia Pearl aka Robin "Pearl" Brown of Bandera, Texas and her partner John Gray opened up a business selling clothing and accessories made from vintage laces, velvets, silks, and embroidered linens from her collection. It all started with a bag she made that was so amazing that a total stranger tracked her down in store and bought it from her. So she made another and another and today she is an accomplished textile artist who has designed all kinds of things from vintage backpacks, purses, clothing, jewelry, and even some fine furniture pieces.

What interested me about her was her amazing 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 4x4 Hippie Glam Art Car and the matching airstream that went with it. WOW!!! First of all, this Rolls Royce art car is even more over the top than John Lenon's Art Car, with more flowers and off road power in one car than all of Haight Ashbury and Monster Jam put together.

The airstream also has an amazing paint job but it truly is breath taking and cozy once you get inside and see all the details. She has completely remade this airstream in her unique style with plenty of texture and color to keep the eyes busy for a long long time. And after a long day of doing some off road cross country travel you can pull over and soak in a claw foot tub filled with hot water and  bubbles. Have tea and fall asleep in what looks like the most comfortable airstream bead I have ever seen.

Robin Bandera and her creations are a delight to the eyes and soul in every way and has managed to pull together her style using the elements at her disposal with ease and perfection, case in point. The only criticism I have of her is that she should have installed a roll cage inside the art car, but I am willing to over look this minor detail, this time:) Great Job!!!

I stumbled upon this ostentatious golden beauty tonight and had to put it up on art car central. Not only is it a Rolls-Royce covered in gold but its got a Hemi engine of epic proportions. This vintage 1970 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow had an "ordinary" 6.75-liter V8 swapped out for a 592 Hemi, complete with dual-stage nitrous system for a reported output of over 1,000 horsepower. The chrome engine that pops out of the hood might not be the Queens car since it take away from the usually-dominant classic grille, but the hand stitched leather-covered roll cage is both classy and safe at high speeds.

Rolls-Royce revealed new Rolls-Royce Ghost car

Rolls-Royce the luxury car manufacturer has revealed the new Rolls-Royce Ghost car with Extended Wheelbase edition at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase car is powered with a 6.6L twin-turbo V12 engine system which produces an output of 555 bhp and 780 Nm of torque. The extended-wheelbase Ghost car is accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase car has Phantom Extended Wheelbase Saloon with Rhapsody Black exterior and luxurious combine of Ardent Red and Seashell interior with Piano Black veneer. There is also Phantom Drophead Coupe in Maiden Blue exterior, Navy Blue and seashell interior with Straight Grained Oak and Ebony

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase car features stunning consort red interior, gold twin coachlines, gold plated Spirit of Ecstasy and stainless steel pinstripes. The Rolls-Royce Ghost car has sufficient interior space with Extended Wheelbase of 170mm, balanced proportions and stunning contemporary design. The car Legroom is significantly enhanced with knee-room more than doubled compared to the standard Ghost.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase car will be built to order and is available only in limited numbers on this year and Rolls-Royce will start full production in 2012.

Rolls Royce Art Car by Pro Hart

Pro Hart (1928-2006) is on of Australia's most famous artist and considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement. His works were shown on a wide variety of products such as air conditioners, beer cans, kitchenware, and telephone cards, and also a very popular carpet commercial on television.

He lived in Broken Hill, in Outback Australia, and owned a number of Rolls Royce and Bentley cars witch he drove all over the outback, and described them as "bloody good cars for the job". He is also famous for his painted 1973 Silver Shadow Rolls Royce art car in 1999.
