The Egyptian protesters in their quest for freedom have developed a rather unique form of art car creation. All that is needed, is an angry mob, gasoline, a lighter and a parked car. The angry mob picks a car at random, dosed it in gasoline and then sets it on fire. The process takes about an hour and after everything flammable is consumed a very unique and beautiful texture emerges on the car. The car is no longer operable but that is no concern to the protesters. What matters is that the car now has a rustic, old-world feel that hearkens back to a time when angry mobs were all the rage.

Massive 1950 Dodge Power Wagon built by the "Rainbow Sheikh"
Posted by Kimberly Sunday, May 17, 2009I was recently sent this video about the worlds largest 1950 Dodge Power Wagon built out in the middle of Arabian desert. It weighs about 50 tons, its 64 times the original size and was so big it had to be built in the desert from about 25 major parts made in Abu Dabi. It's big enough to live in and has a master bedroom in the main upstairs cab. The tail gait lowers with a motor to make a balcony with an incredible view of the desert. It has wheels from a large oil rig, windshield wipers from a ocean liner and headlights that cost $1,500 each. This behemoth was built by Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan aka The Rainbow Sheikh who is a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Incredible Pakistany Art Cars Hit the Road
Posted by Kimberly Saturday, January 3, 2009I can't believe how amazing and beautiful these art buses are from Pakistan. The amount of time spend creating these wondrous works of art stun me senseless. I also can't imagine the time spend in keeping up with it all and making sure the colors stay vibrant for a long time. These and many more are found on drive line
