Chevrolet has revealed 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition car which is the fastest, most capable convertible in Corvette.
The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition car is powered with 427-cubic-inch 7.0 liter LS7 engine from Corvette Z06 which is most powerful engine ever installed in production Corvette convertible. The car produces 505hp and 470 lb.ft. of torque and is connected with six speed manual transmission. The car is accelerated from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, quarter mile performance in 11.8 seconds and top speed of the car is more than 190 mph.
The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition car features several carbon fiber components like Carbon fiber raised hood, Carbon fiber Z06-style fenders and Carbon fiber floor panels to reduce weight. The CFZ carbon fiber front splitter and rocker panels are optional on 427 Convertible and included with 60th Anniversary package.
The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition car available with 60th Anniversary Package features Arctic White exterior with Blue Diamond leather wrapped interior with suede accents and have a blue top. The car has ZR1style rear spoiler, special badging, gray painted brake calipers and 60th logo on wheel center caps, steering wheel and seat headrests. The car has optional graphics package with full length racing stripes in Pearl Silver Blue, including tonal stripe stitched into convertible top, extending the graphic theme over roof.
The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition car and 60th Anniversary Package will be available on all 2013 Corvette models. The car will be going to make its first public debut at Barrett Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale Arizona on January 21 and will be available for sale at US Chevrolet dealers early this summer.
