Peugeot the France car manufacturer has revealed new images and details about Peugeot iOn electric car.
The Peugeot iOn car is powered with an 88-cell lithium-ion battery pack which drives control of an electric motor with 63 hp and 180 Nm of torque. This permits the car to speed up from 0-100 km/h in 15.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 130 km/h. The car can move 150 km before needing a recharge.
The Peugeot iOn car can be recharged with a standard 220V household outlet in about six hours when batteries are entirely depleted. If that is not fast enough a 3-phase 380V fast charger can refill the battery 50% in fifteen minutes and 80% in thirty minutes.
The choices of Peugeot iOn car contains cold weather package, navigation system and commercial vehicle package which reduces rear seat permit a load capacity of 1.1 cubic meters. The Peugeot iOn will be obtainable through a five year lease which consists of vehicle, battery set, repair, maintenance and a 50,000 km warranty for €499 monthly.
The Peugeot iOn has a unique Peugeot logo which is pearlescent white / chrome for styling, alloy wheels, fog lamps and automatic headlights. The interior of car have remote control central locking, electric windows, air conditioning and MP3/CD audio system with Bluetooth/USB connectivity.
