Although the historic importance of sea travel for passengers has decreased, due to the rise of commercial aviation, it is still very effective for short trips, carrying automobile accessories and other pleasure cruises.

Generally, car shipping is also referred as cargo. Ship transport is an international by nature, but it is accomplished by barge, boat, ship or sailboat over sea, ocean, lake, canal or river.
